\n\nTravel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work on a progressive care unit with 23 step-down beds and 16 medical-surgical beds
\n• Patient ratios of 1:3-4 for step-down patients and 1:4-6 for medical-surgical patients
\n• Day shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 11 RNs, and 4 PCTs
\n• Night shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 10 RNs, and 4 PCTs
\n• Work with specialized equipment including lifts, chest tubes, cardiac drips, stable ventilated patients, and trachs
\n• EMR system is Cerner
\n• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
\n• Experience working with trachs required
\n• Previous Cerner experience preferred
\n• Perform typical procedures including trach care, chest tube management, and wound dressing changes
\n• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
\n• Float to other medical-surgical and progressive care units as needed
\n• Dress code requires navy blue scrubs
\n• Weekend requirement of 6 Saturday or Sunday shifts in a 6-week period
\n• Must demonstrate flexibility and high level of clinical competence
