Isaac Heating & Air Conditioning is currently in search of an experienced Residential HVAC Sales Representative for their Syracuse , NY team. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating customer homes by utilizing provided energy assessment tools, educating homeowners on the findings, and sell products that meet their needs based on the results of the energy assessment.

Lead-based sales with competitive base salary and commission. First-year potential earnings could exceed $120,000+

Responsibilities:

• Generate leads through referrals and inbound inquiries
• Conduct in-home energy assessments, including inspecting insulation air sealing and other energy efficiency factors
• Provide homeowners with clear, customized recommendations and quotes for insulation and other energy-saving improvements
• Educate homeowners on the benefits of energy efficiency and available rebate or incentive programs
• Close sales through consultative, solution-oriented selling
• Maintain sales projections, reaching sales goals as established with your manager
• Coordinate with Installation teams to ensure timely and accurate project completion
• Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and pipeline activity in ServiceTitan software
• Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and secure referrals
• Enter energy assessment information in energy modeling program as needed
• Stay up-to-date on energy efficiency trends, utility rebate programs, and local building codes
• Engineer, order, and schedule the purchased home improvements
• Perform other related duties as assigned to ensure the efficient operation of the sales department

Job Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous sales experience in a similar setting preferred
• Knowledge of HVAC, home, and/or energy industries preferred
• Clean driving record with valid driver's license

Competencies:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of energy efficiency principles, building science, or insulation products preferred
• Proven experience in sales, energy consulting, or related field preferred
• Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management abilities

The anticipated first-year earnings for this position is $120,000-140,000 or more. The base salary is $31,200 with 8% commission on all sales. This is the range of the base pay only, it does not include other components that make up the total compensation package of the position. If offered a position, your total compensation package will be determined by experience, location, skills, and/or education which may result in a total compensation package that falls outside of the provided range.
