The American Technion Society (ATS) is currently seeking a Content Strategist and MarCom Writer to join their growing organization. This position is a hybrid New York Metro-based role. Salary range: $95,000-115,000 The American Technion Society The American Technion Society (ATS) supports visionary education and world-changing impact through the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology. Based in New York City, it represents thousands of US donors, alumni, and stakeholders who invest in the Technion's growth and innovation to advance critical research and technologies that serve the State of Israel and the global good. ATS employs a staff of 60 + that work from New York and in regional offices across the United States.

YOUR ROLE

The Content Strategist and MarCom Writer will be a key player on the Marketing and Communications Team. Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Marketing and Communications, this creative force will craft compelling digital and print content that shines a spotlight on the groundbreaking work of the Technion and the passionate community behind the American Technion Society. From captivating magazine features and eye-catching brochures to high impact web content, digital campaigns, and SEO writing, this role is all about bringing stories to life and sparking action. Whether it’s driving awareness, inspiring donations, boosting event attendance, or deepening supporter engagement, your words will make a difference. SKILLS and STRENGTHS Content Creation: Write compelling content about Technion science, faculty, donors, and students Lead the writing and project management of donor relations group reports Manage significant content projects/series including research, writing, and project management Support press coordination with the Technion Work collaboratively with team to develop content arcs for our channels Ensure accuracy of facts, statistics, and information background used in all content Project Management: Manage projects on which you are lead writer including coordinating design and distribution Update the website through WordPress for various projects SEO writing: Lead all SEO writing for the website Coordinate SEO projects Editing/Proofreading: Review materials for accuracy and style Ideal Candidate: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, English or related field. 5+ years related work experience, preferably in science, Israel or Jewish topics a plus. Familiarity with SEO writing. Ability to write about complicated subjects in a way that is understandable to the lay audience. Strong verbal, writing and creative skills with keen attention to detail. Proficient in Microsoft Office and AI tools along with the ability to grasp new concepts and systems with ease. Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills and a natural curiosity and growth mindset. Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
