Nortek Powder Coating LLC is a growing manufacturer and supplier of high-quality powder coatings. We pride ourselves on friendly service, reliability, and taking care of our customers and team. We’re looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Warehouse Shipping Clerk to join our crew and help keep our operations running smoothly.

Position Summary:

The Shipping/Receiving Clerk is responsible for safe, accurate, and timely handling of finished goods as well as raw materials. The associate will also ensure that inventory of each is kept up to date daily. Main duties include safely packaging any materials going out, unloading raw materials, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. The role requires forklift experience as well as adequate computer skills to help keep both the warehouse and inventory clean.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely package any finished goods going out daily
• Add and deduct daily inventory of finished goods
• Safely and efficiently organize newly stocked finished goods
• Safely operate stretch-wrapping and pallet jacks
• Maintain a clean work environment
• Communicate with shipping coordinator to ensure orders go out accurately
• Support other departments when needed.
• Wearing proper PPE as needed when handling finished goods/raw materials

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in shipping/receiving role.
• Minimum 3 years Forklift experience
• Ability to lift 50lbs
• Strong communication skills- written and verbal.
• Basic math and computer skills
• Excellent attendance
• Highly organized, reliable, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Positive attitude and ability to work independently
• Strong work ethic and ability to perform repetitive tasks
