The Warehouse Shipping Associate will conduct quality checks and wrap artwork for shipping and/or client pick-up. The Warehouse Shipping Associate will be required to learn and become proficient in the basics of the industry.

Primary duties/responsibilities:

• Properly package all framed and unframed art for shipment and/or pick-up.
• Transport artwork to the packaging station. Label artwork during packaging.
• Review work order to ensure that the correct artwork and number of pieces are packaged for each job.
• Perform quality check prior to packaging each artwork.
• Employ good listening skills and demonstrate good communication skills.
• Work closely with Colorchrome’s Production Team, as an extension of the Sales Team, in order to deliver consistently high quality products and services to Colorchrome’s clients.
• Demonstrate the daily discipline and desire to achieve goals with limited guidance, taking responsibility for all results.
• Seek opportunities to contribute in cross-departmental efforts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Work according to Colorchrome’s values.

Desired Skills & Background

• Ideal candidate will have previous experience handling and packaging art.
• Prior knowledge of procedures and materials used for art packing, wrapping, and transport preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Knowledge of framing, carpentry & crate construction a plus.
• Basic carpentry skills and knowledge of power tools.
• Trustworthy, reliable, hardworking, highly organized, detail-oriented.
• Must be a self-starter, able to anticipate and solve problems.
• Able to perform in a high-volume environment with firm deadlines.
• Excellent work ethic a must.

Full-time Position based in Norcross, GA- Monday through Friday
