Job Summary:

Fast growing water filtration distributor and service company is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Warehouse Shipping and Receiving Manager to lead our warehouse operations. This role is critical to ensuring the accurate and timely movement of water filtration products, parts, and field service equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience in logistics, inventory control, and team leadership within a distribution and service-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Shipping & Receiving

• Manage all incoming and outgoing shipments of water filtration systems, components, and service tools.
• Coordinate with vendors, freight carriers, and field service teams to ensure timely deliveries and pickups.
• Verify shipment accuracy and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Packaging of daily orders using UPS WorldShip, LTL Carriers and accounting software.

Inventory Control

• Maintain accurate inventory records using accounting software system.
• Oversee storage and organization of filtration products and service parts.
• Conduct regular cycle counts and reconcile inventory variances.

Team Leadership

• Supervise warehouse staff and coordinate daily tasks.
• Train team members on proper handling of sensitive filtration equipment.
• Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Field Service Support

• Prepare and stage equipment and supplies for field service technicians.
• Collaborate with service coordinators to meet scheduling and delivery needs.
• Ensure returned equipment is properly inspected and restocked.

Safety & Compliance

• Enforce OSHA and company safety standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized and hazard-free warehouse.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of water treatment chemicals and components.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate s or Bachelor s degree preferred).
• 3+ years of warehouse shipping and recieving experience, preferably in distribution or field services.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and operate warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts).

Preferred Skills:

• Experience supporting field service operations.
• Familiarity with water filtration products or similar technical inventory is a plus.
• Knowledge of UPS WorldShip, Microsoft Office Suite and NetSuite.
