General Responsibilities
- Dive into data! Load files and datasets into SQL or other staging environments.
- Be a tech wizard! Assist in designing, developing, implementing, and supporting interfaces/integrations within the Hospital and Supply Chain environment.
- Empower users! Train and support users of novusreach®, manage user access, and schedule training sessions.
- Build lasting relationships! Provide top-notch customer service and responsiveness to our clients.
- Lead exciting projects! Plan and implement Supply Chain optimization projects, coordinating across multiple teams and departments.
- Analyze and innovate! Build and analyze datasets, review supply data cleanliness, and develop methods to improve processes.
- Be a data detective! Map and match datasets from various sources and configure scripts to integrate with the novusreach® Data Management platform.
- Drive cost savings! Seek to improve and identify cost savings in all aspects of the Client’s supply chain department by reviewing current methodology and processes.
- Identify and implement business rules and client requirements across datasets.
- Design and implement methods to gather and manage supply chain data.
- Create impactful reports! Issue standard and ad-hoc reporting for exercises including scorecards, KPIs, contract price discrepancy analysis, product conversion and standardization, par and inventory management, transactional discrepancy reconciliation, etc.
- Review and analyze gathered data to locate areas of opportunity in the supply chain process and develop methods to improve.
- Work with Clients to collect relevant data to evaluate scope analyses for future engagements and initiatives.
- Participate in, develop, and maintain solution process flows across multiple teams in and outside of Supply Chain.
- Collaborate and grow! Work with Novus Senior Management in developing financial reporting, forecast models, and cost accounting strategies.
- Help define and develop Novus processes and operations to support business growth.
- Explore new technologies! Participate in roadmap development for current and future Novus solutions.
- Take on special projects and initiatives as they arise to support client and business growth.
Requirements and Proficiencies
- 5-7 years of experience in supply chain, data analysis, or a related field.
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Experience with SQL preferred (position requires frequent SQL utilization; Novus willing to train).
- High-level understanding of all aspects of supply chain processes (preferably in healthcare).
- Experience analyzing and improving supply chain data, information, and processes.
- Professional communication skills are essential when conversing and negotiating with clients, vendors, and partners.
- Previous experience with supply chain processes strongly preferred.
- Experience working to improve all aspects of the supply chain by streamlining steps and locating the best prices for inventory.
- Visual Analytics Concepts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (and Access).
- Ability to abstract business needs and translate them to technology requirements.
- Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle Concepts.
- Understanding of Data Flow and Data Modeling Concepts.
- Process Management and Documentation skills.

Other Considerations
- A permanent on-site presence is not required; must be willing to travel on occasion.
