Staff Accountant / Accounts Payable Accountant
Salary: $68,000 – $80,000 base + benefits
Location: St. Paul, MN | Onsite

Key Responsibilities for the Staff Accountant:

Accounts Payable Operations

• Manage full-cycle AP including invoice processing, coding, approvals, and vendor payments

• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies

• Administer employee expense and corporate credit card platforms

• Assist with monthly close and GL reconciliations

• Prepare and file annual 1099s

Vendor & Treasury Support

• Maintain vendor master file (W-9s, insurance certs, contact info)

• Respond to vendor inquiries and ensure proper documentation

• Support the Controller in managing cash disbursements and cash flow planning

Audit, Controls & Process Improvement

• Assist with audit preparation and compliance documentation

• Help enhance internal controls over AP and vendor processes

• Identify process improvement opportunities and document SOPs

Team Collaboration

• Cross-train with other team members to provide functional support

• Contribute to broader finance and accounting initiatives as needed

What You Bring:

• 2+ years of accounts payable or general accounting experience

• Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems

• Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail
