Salary: $137,280 - 137,280 per year Requirements:

• Masters degree in Sociology
• OR Bachelors degree in Sociology AND a Masters degree in Anthropology, any Ethnic Studies, Social Work, or Psychology
• OR a combination of education and experience deemed equivalent
• Sensitivity and understanding of diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students
• Degrees and credits must be from accredited institutions
• Familiarity with community college mission and commitment to it

• Provide instruction across a comprehensive range of Psychology courses within the Rising Scholars Program
• Teach at various campus locations and during a variety of times (day, evening, weekend)
• Conduct large classes and utilize distance learning and multiple teaching methodologies
• Participate in student recruitment and articulate transfer programs for the Behavioral Science department
• Maintain current knowledge in subject matter and develop or revise curriculum
• Employ computer and multimedia technology effectively
• Assess student learning outcomes and program-level achievements
• Engage collegially in department, college, and discipline-related professional activities
