Overview Social Media Assistant - S. Starling [Work Study] at Graduate School of Leadership and Change | Antioch University (Los Angeles campus). This is a part-time, 15 hours per week work-study role, remote-friendly with on-campus engagement. Start Date: 7/1/2025 End Date: 6/30/2026 Supervisor: Selina Starling Alternate Supervisor: Amelia Bryan Position Type: Work Study Department: Marketing & Digital Strategy Number of Positions: 1 Hours per Week: 15 hrs Weekend/Evens: No (Evenings Not Required) Remote Work: Yes. Percentage of time remote: 7.5% Location: Antioch University Los Angeles campus (on-campus activities and events may be required). Responsibilities Collaborate with the Social Media Manager and campus social media assistant team to create engaging, campus-based content for social channels (primarily Instagram) through selfie-style videos, campus photos, day-in-the-life POVs, and other student-based content. Develop weekly engaging content for the designated campus using photos, videos, and other media (approximately 7 hours weekly). Be present on campus to identify potential content through events, classroom activities, and campus resources (approximately 7 hours weekly). Attend brainstorming sessions once a week and collaborate with the social media manager (1 hour). Uphold Antioch’s brand guidelines, mission, and values in all content. All content undergoes review by the Social Media Manager before publication to ensure quality and compliance. Qualifications Ability to be physically on campus and in the surrounding community. Comfortable recording video content with a cell phone. Proven experience in professional social media work. Excellent writing and communication skills. Attention to detail and understanding of social trends. Ability to attend regular meetings via Zoom with Antioch’s social media manager and the Social Media Assistant team.
