The starting rate for this position is: $18.61

To ensure the safety and security of St. Mary’s Health System’s employees, patients, and visitors by maintaining a vigilant and protective environment.

Job Requirements

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
• Previous security experience preferred.
• Complete CPI training program and recertify every two years.
• A valid Maine driver’s license.
• CPI De-escalation training
• Excellent surveillance, observation skills, and attention to detail
• Good physical condition and offer an impeccable appearance while setting high professional standards.
• Advanced Computer skills.
• Knowledge of medical/security terminology is beneficial.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
• The ability to speak, read, write, and understand written instructions in English is required.
