Summary
UNIT SUMMARY: 29-bed surgical oncology unit with a focus on GYN malignancies. We care for a large variety of oncology patients, with solid tumors, orthopedic cancer and hematologic cancers to name a few. With a large, complex post-surgical population, this setting will allow the development of strong assessment, intervention and communication skills. The unit also cares for patients who develop complications from their disease and complications from complex chemotherapy.
