Job Title: Recruiter / Staffing Specialist

Location: Warren, MI (Onsite)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a results-driven Recruiter / Staffing Specialist to support hiring efforts within a dynamic manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for sourcing, screening, and onboarding qualified candidates to meet current and future workforce demands. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in recruitment and a keen understanding of manufacturing staffing needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build strong relationships with hiring managers to stay aligned on staffing needs and workforce planning
  • Source candidates through job boards, referrals, social media, and direct outreach
  • Screen and interview applicants to evaluate experience, skills, and overall fit for production and support roles
  • Maintain detailed and organized employment records and applicant tracking documentation
  • Communicate job details, work environment, and benefits to prospective candidates
  • Coordinate and support onboarding processes to ensure a smooth candidate experience
  • Stay informed about labor market trends and contribute to continuous improvement in recruiting strategies

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 2–4 years of experience in recruiting, staffing, or a high-volume customer service role
  • Familiarity with manufacturing environments and production-related roles is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced setting
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel) and applicant tracking systems (ATS)
  • Understanding of employment laws, hiring compliance, and best practices in talent acquisition

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience supporting recruitment in a manufacturing or industrial setting
  • Knowledge of workforce planning and hourly staffing strategies
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus, but not required
