Receptionist (SO) TEMP POSITION Location Bay Shore, NY :

Responsible for reception area. Duties include, but not limited to, greeting and ushering visitors/patients, answering and directing telephone calls, taking messages, setting appointments, etc.

Job Responsibility

• Performs diversified receptionist's duties which may include, but are not limited to:
  • Greeting visitors
  • Answering telephones, taking messages, directing intercom pages, etc.
  • Setting up appointments, bookings, etc.
  • Logging descriptive statistical data pertaining to the department
  • Receives payments and transmits to Accounting Department
  • Miscellaneous duties related to department
• Performs related duties, as required.

• ADA Essential Functions

Job Qualification

• High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
• Prior clerical experience, preferred.
• Typing 30 wpm and/or data entry skills (80 keystrokes per minute), required.
• Ability to communicate effectively, required. Ability to deal courteously with patients and families, when required.
