Now Hiring: Quality Control Inspector – 1st Shift Pay Rate: $19.58/hour Location: Winsted, CT Shift: 1st Shift Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:00pmPosition Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Quality Control Inspector to join our 1st shift team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing precise visual inspections to ensure all products meet established quality standards. This position plays a vital role in maintaining product integrity and customer satisfaction.Key Responsibilities:Perform visual inspections using magnifiers, microscopes, and other tools. Ensure all inspection equipment is calibrated before use. Maintain a clean and organized inspection area. Record inspection results clearly and accurately. Identify nonconforming product and complete Discrepancy Reports. Follow stamp control procedures. Maintain lot and sample traceability. Review new and updated product specifications as needed. Qualifications:High school diploma or GED equivalent required. Previous experience in a manufacturing environment. Must be able to sit for 5–7 hours per day. Must be able to walk, push, carry, or lift up to 50 lbs occasionally. Must be able to stand for extended periods. Must not have any visual color deficiency (color vision test may be required).
