Position Overview:

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Production Artist to join our dynamic marketing team and bring our premium bedding products to life across multiple digital platforms. This role is perfect for a recent graduate or early-career designer with 0-3 years of experience who is passionate about e-commerce, photography, and creating compelling visual content that drives customer engagement. You'll play a crucial role in our brand's visual presence, working directly with our Art Director and cross-functional teams to produce stunning product imagery, marketing materials, and digital campaigns across 18+ retail channels.

Key Responsibilities:

Photography & Visual Production:

  • Shoot product photography and lifestyle images in our on-site studio
  • Retouch and enhance product photos from both in-house shoots and external agency work
  • Set up and style product shots that showcase our bedding products in the best light
  • Collaborate with the creative team to conceptualize and execute compelling visual storytelling

Digital Design & Marketing:

  • Design eye-catching email marketing campaigns that drive conversions
  • Create banner ads and promotional graphics for multiple platforms
  • Develop engaging social media content that aligns with brand guidelines
  • Design product marketing materials for our website and online marketplaces
  • Build assets optimized for Shopify, Salsify, Amazon, and 16+ additional e-commerce platforms

Collaboration & Innovation:

  • Work closely with New Product Development team to create launch materials
  • Partner with Marketplace team to optimize product presentation across all channels
  • Participate in A/B testing initiatives and iterate designs based on performance data
  • Contribute creative ideas for product showcases and seasonal campaigns
  • Support cross-functional teams with quick-turn design requests

Qualifications & Requirements:

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Art, Visual Communications, or related field
  • 0-3 years of professional design or production experience
  • E-commerce, retail, or product photography experience strongly preferred
  • Portfolio demonstrating strong design fundamentals and diverse creative work REQUIRED

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency with Mac operating system
  • Advanced Adobe Creative Suite skills (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Experience with design tools such as Figma or Canva
  • Photography skills and knowledge of studio lighting (preferred)
  • Microsoft Excel for project tracking and data analysis
  • Familiarity with Shopify and e-commerce platform requirements
  • Basic HTML/CSS knowledge is a plus
  • Experience with Salsify or similar product content management systems is a plus

Creative & Analytical Skills:

  • Strong eye for composition, color theory, and typography
  • Understanding of brand guidelines and ability to maintain visual consistency
  • Analytical mindset to evaluate design performance and optimize based on metrics
  • Knowledge of A/B testing principles and data-driven design decisions
  • Attention to detail with excellent file management and organizational skills

Compensation & Benefits:

Competitive Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 (based on experience)
