Originally founded in California, Design And Customize LLC is a dynamic team of designers, packaging specialists, and production experts committed to building better brands. As of 2024 we are excited to announce the opening of our second location Design And Customize NY LLC in Brooklyn, New York, and are looking to grow with a team of hard-working team members from the ground up.

Specializing in creating custom branded graphics, animations, and product packaging, we cater to companies of all sizes and pride ourselves on delivering high-quality products with fast turnarounds, driven by our collaborative team spirit.

Role Overview:
We are seeking a Design Intern with a keen eye for detail and a passion for creativity. This role offers the opportunity to immerse yourself in a creative environment, refine your design skills, and work on various projects to enhance your portfolio. You'll collaborate with a passionate team, contribute to brand development, and gain valuable experience in a dynamic environment. Ideal for someone enthusiastic and hard-working, eager to apply creative solutions for client growth and brand promotion.

Job Type:

• Design Internship (2 Month Contract) / Immediate Start Available.
• Part-Time or Full-Time Position.
• Flexible Schedule: 30-40 hours per week.
• Location: 253 36th St, Ste B317, Brooklyn, NY 11232 (In-office required).
• Starting Pay: $17/hour.

Responsibilities:

• Design custom typefaces, vector graphics, illustrations for logos, labels, and packaging.
• Engage in all phases of design from sketching and ideation to client interaction.
• Resize, reformat digital files for various applications.
• Inspect quality control and assist in preparing packages for shipment.
• Use task management software to track projects.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements:

• Advanced Knowledge in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Procreate or similar programs.
• Experience or interest in packaging design, digital lettering, and illustrations.
• Attention to detail is a must.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Sales and customer service experience is a plus.
