Plant Manager

Are you a hands-on manufacturing leader who enjoys owning the operation from the floor to the front office? A well-established and growing manufacturer near Rockford, IL is seeking a Plant Manager to oversee and lead day-to-day plant operations while driving performance, safety, and continuous improvement.

What You’ll Do

• Lead all daily manufacturing operations, including production, maintenance, quality, safety, and shipping
• Set clear expectations and hold teams accountable for performance, output, and standards
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, cost control, and on-time delivery
• Partner with leadership on production planning, staffing, and capital projects
• Foster a culture of safety, teamwork, and accountability across the facility
• Monitor KPIs and take proactive action to address issues and improve results

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing a manufacturing plant or production operation
• Background in aerospace, automotive, machining, or plastic injection molding is preferred
• Strong leadership presence with the ability to engage teams at all levels
• Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, scheduling, and lean or continuous improvement principles
