Join Our Team as a Float Phlebotomist at Labcorp!

Your Role

As a Float Phlebotomist , you will be at the forefront of patient care, performing blood collections using both venipuncture and capillary techniques across various clinic locations. This role is perfect for those who enjoy variety and are eager to expand their skills!

What You'll Do

• Perform blood collections for all age groups using venipuncture and capillary techniques.
• Collect specimens for various tests, including drug screens and paternity tests.
• Accurately enter patient information and process billing as needed.
• Prepare specimens for testing and maintain detailed logs.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to all patients.
• Travel to different sites as required.

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous phlebotomy experience is preferred, but we may train candidates with healthcare experience.
• Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Strong communication skills and a proven track record in customer service.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test.

Work Schedule

Enjoy a flexible schedule with 8-hour shifts between 12:00 PM & 10:30 PM, Monday to Friday, and every other weekend . Hours may vary depending on the site you cover.

Float Incentive

Receive an additional $1.00/hr plus mileage reimbursement for your travel between sites!

Location

This position is based in the Milwaukee region .
