Taylor Communications, a Taylor Corporation company, is looking for an advanced Order Picker to run a turret truck at the Jeffersonville, IN team. Responsibilities include ensuring accuracy of picking customer orders, performing quality checks, verifying stock availability and stocking shelves, repackaging orders, maintaining a safe and clean work environment, cleaning and maintaining a safe working environment, and maintaining related records. Requirements include ability to use a ring scanner, manual equipment and powered material handling equipment (order picker or lift), ability to use a Turret Truck and be comfortable with heights up to 35 feet, ability to read and count accurately and do simple math, detail orientation, ability to work independently with minimum supervision, ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment, effective communication and teamwork skills, self-motivation and multitasking ability, and certifications required for use of powered equipment. Additional requirements include ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English, ability to remain in a stationary position regularly, frequent operation of machinery and handling of products including print materials, frequent movement inside the facility, and ability to regularly move up to 50+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry). Preferred qualifications include a high school graduate or equivalent and more than 2 years' experience in Pick/Packing. The position is 2nd shift, Monday - Friday, 3:30 pm - 12:00 am with overtime/weekends as required.
