Nocturnist Physician at CommonSpirit Health summary:

Hospital-employed nocturnist physician position for board-certified/board-eligible Internal Medicine physicians to provide overnight inpatient adult care (7 PM–7 AM) with no pediatrics, OB, trauma, or codes; responsibilities include diagnosis, treatment, orders, and discharge planning. Job Summary and Responsibilities

CHI Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga, TN is seeking a Board-Eligible/Board-Certified Internal Medicine Nocturnist to join our well-established hospital-employed group.

About the Opportunity:

• Schedule: 153 shifts (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM)
• Focus: Inpatient care for adults, no Peds, OB, or Trauma. No codes (Rapid Response Team handles), no after-hours call.
• Support: Reasonable census, closed ICUs staffed by Intensivists.
• Key Responsibilities: Diagnose, treat, prescribe, order/interpret tests, and manage discharge planning for inpatients.
• Compensation: Competitive Base Salary, Commencement Bonus, Quality Incentive Bonus, & Longevity Bonus.

Job Requirements

• MD or DO degree
• Board certified/board eligible in Internal Medicine
• Ability to obtain an active medical license & DEA for Tennessee and Georgia
