The successful candidate will design engaging, inquiry-based French language experiences that develop communication skills, cultural understanding, and a love of learning. Key Responsibilities Teach French Language Acquisition and/or Literature in alignment with IB MYP and DP frameworks. Design engaging, inquiry-driven lessons that develop language proficiency and intercultural understanding. Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of multilingual learners. Collaborate with colleagues to design meaningful, interdisciplinary learning experiences. Support students in preparation for DP assessments and oral examinations. Contribute to language and cultural events that enrich the life of the school. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in French, Education, or a related field (Master’s preferred). Valid teaching qualification. Two or more years of French teaching experience, preferably in an international or IB setting. Experience teaching both MYP and DP (Language B and/or Language A) preferred. Strong communication, collaboration, and intercultural skills. Preferred Attributes Experience supporting multilingual and diverse learners. Commitment to inclusive practices and inquiry-based pedagogy. Enthusiasm for contributing to a caring international community that values the Lao context and culture. Willingness to engage in co-curricular activities and schoolwide initiatives.
