Job Summary:

As a Class A CDL Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of materials, rsto and from Branch locations, Designated Receiving Facilities and/or Third-Party Vendors via box trailer and tanker.

Scheduled shift hours: 5:30am - 3:30pm Monday - Friday NO weekends. Except to work a 10-12 hour day.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Transporting and drop off trailers all day between (2) locations a distance of (4) mile radius from branch location.
• Required to read a worksheet upon arrival and follow instructions and routes for the day based on worksheet.
• Once the trailer is dropped responsible for drop off and staging. NO LOADING or NO UNLOADING
• Responsible for working safely in all job aspects and functions.
• Promotes and fosters safety and efficiency in all Facility employees and activity.
• Maintains compliance with all applicable Federal, State and local regulations regarding over the road transportation of materials.
• Verifies paperwork on materials transported (manifests, bills of lading, etc.) for accuracy and compliance.
• Checks load prior to moving to ensure proper blocking and bracing of transported materials.
• Maintains accurate driving logs.
• Performs other duties as may be assigned.

Job Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Class A CDL with HazMat and tanker endorsement.

• All applicants must pass the following pre-employment requirements:
• physical including drug & alcohol screening
• Background check in accordance with local laws and regulations
