???? What You’ll Do in This Role:


As a Household Homemaker you will be responsible for brightening the lives of older adults by delivering exceptional customer service and creating meaningful connections. In this role, you’ll handle a variety of dining services, including household cooking, kitchen assistance, and related activities, all while fostering a warm, welcoming environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Create an enjoyable dining experience, serving residents and their guests
  • Assists with serving resident meals, snacks, and nourishments.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, dining, and service area.
  • Prepare food for household meals and snacks that are healthy and appetizing.
  • Plans and facilitates activities for residents involve food preparation or other activities specific to the kitchen.

What You’ll Need:

  • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
  • Prior experience as a waiter/waitress or server in a restaurant, nursing home, or retirement community serving older adults is preferred.
  • Certification in Food Handling, preferred.
  • Experience in commercial food preparation and services, preferred.
  • Certification in Dining Assistant or CNA, preferred.
  • Ability to lift 35 pounds.
