Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Insurance Agent to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for selling insurance policies to customers and maintaining relationships, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail sales and outside sales, with a proven ability to communicate effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.

Duties:

• Sell insurance policies, including property, casualty, health, and life insurance products.
• Analyze clients' insurance needs and provide personalized recommendations.
• Negotiate with clients to reach mutually beneficial agreements.
• Utilize telemarketing skills to reach potential clients and promote insurance products.
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to continuously improve sales performance.
• Maintain a high level of knowledge of insurance products and services to provide expert advice to clients.
• Comply with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality in all interactions with clients.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure long-term loyalty and retention.

Experience:

• Proven experience in retail sales or outside sales, preferably in the insurance industry.
• Strong understanding of insurance products and services.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to analyze complex information and provide effective solutions.
• Experience with telemarketing or other sales techniques.
• Fluency in multiple languages is a plus, particularly those relevant to the local market.
• Prior experience in a customer-facing role, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Skills:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze and interpret complex information.
• Experience with telemarketing and outside sales.
• Proven sales skills and a track record of meeting sales targets.
• Knowledge of insurance products and services.
• Experience with HIPAA regulations and maintaining confidentiality.
• Ability to market insurance products effectively.
• Fluency in multiple languages is a plus(Spanish, or Haitian-Creole).

Pay: From $16.50 per hour

License/Certification:

• Insurance Producer License(Preferred)
• Life Insurance License(Preferred)
• If you are not licensed but are willing to take the class, you can apply; we will pay for you to obtain your license.
