About the Role
The Company is seeking a Head of Acquisitions and Licensing to lead all strategic efforts in this area. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive acquisition and licensing strategy, including the identification of priority targets, the establishment of industry and investment banker relationships, and the management of the full deal process from sourcing to post-transaction integration. This role is pivotal in shaping and executing the company's growth strategy, and the ideal candidate will be a high-energy, hands-on M&A executive with a proven track record in financial, business, operational, and industry due diligence, as well as in the negotiation of deal terms. The Head of Acquisitions and Licensing will also be instrumental in expanding the company's product portfolio and market share through partnerships and licensing agreements. Applicants for this role at the company should have a minimum of 7 years' professional experience, with at least 4 years in a corporate M&A role, on a private equity deal team, or as a mid- to senior-level investment banker. Experience with private equity firms is strongly preferred, and a background in the consumer products industry is a plus. The role requires advanced proficiency in financial modeling, and accounting, and a demonstrated ability to lead complex transaction processes. The ideal candidate will have a successful track record as a strategic business partner, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. A Bachelor's degree is required, with a Master's degree being preferred.
