Job Description

Title : Facility Manger

Location: Austin, TX

Hours: Monday - Friday

Compensation : $100,000 - $130,000 ( depending on years of experience)

Must haves

  • Bachelors degree in Facilities Management, Corporate Real Estate, Project Management or Business Administration desired.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of facility management experience with at least 5 years at the level of Facility Manager.
  • Experience in leasing, construction, engineering and all facets of property operation and building management.
  • Experience with human resources and performance management processes.
  • Experience with critical system environments preferred.
  • CMMS/Work Order Management experience preferred.

Job description

The Facility Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of facilities within a campus setting, ensuring that essential servicesincluding custodial, life-safety, engineering, and general maintenanceare delivered effectively and in alignment with organizational policies and ownership directives. This role involves managing service contracts with cost efficiency, conducting performance and financial reviews, issuing RFPs, and ensuring accurate invoicing and compliance with contractual obligations. The Facility Manager leads a team in maintaining both the interior and exterior conditions of the property, while fostering prompt and positive responses to client and tenant requests. They implement ongoing contract review programs to assess and address occupant needs, prepare and present comprehensive financial reports and budgets, and contribute to long-term capital planning initiatives. Additionally, the role includes analyzing operational data to identify service gaps and drive improvements, overseeing staffing decisions and employee relations, and conducting performance evaluations. The Facility Manager also cultivates strong client relationships, promotes customer-focused service delivery, and drives innovation through best practices and industry trends. Ensuring compliance with insurance requirements and coordinating claims with tenants and vendors are also key responsibilities

Compensation

$100,000 to $130,000 per year annual salary.
