This leadership role will drive the QA strategy, execution, and governance across complex data ecosystems, ensuring data accuracy, performance, and business alignment. Responsibilities Define and implement robust test strategies for ETL pipelines, Snowflake data warehouse, BI/reporting tools, and automation frameworks. Develop detailed test plans, test cases, and test data aligned with business and technical requirements. Estimate testing efforts, allocate resources, and manage timelines across multiple concurrent projects. Lead and oversee functional, integration, regression, and data validation testing. Validate data accuracy, completeness, consistency across source systems, staging layers, and Snowflake. Ensure business logic is correctly implemented in reports and dashboards. Perform root cause analysis of defects and coordinate with development and data engineering teams for resolution. Design and implement automated test suites and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines. Continuously evaluate and improve test coverage, efficiency, and reliability. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, participate in Agile ceremonies, and provide regular updates on test progress, risks, and quality metrics. Establish and enforce QA standards, templates, and documentation practices. Ensure compliance with data governance, privacy, and security standards and maintain traceability between business requirements, test cases, and defects. Required Skills & Experience 15+ years of experience in software testing with a strong focus on data and analytics platforms. Proven expertise in ETL testing, data validation, and data quality assurance. Deep hands‑on experience with Snowflake – querying, performance tuning, and schema validation. Advanced SQL skills for complex data validation and transformation logic. Experience testing BI/reporting tools such as Power BI and Tableau. Proficiency in test automation tools and familiarity with data integration tools like Informatica and Talend. Experience with test management tools such as Jira.
