Job Description

Salary: $65,000 - 85,000 per year Requirements:

• Proficiency in core programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, PHP, HTML, CSS, and MySQL.
• Fundamental understanding of Linux CLI and Docker.
• Experience working with cloud hosting environments and local development setups, including using SSH keys for authentication.
• Basic knowledge of networking, including port forwarding and security measures related to software and hardware firewalls.
• Familiarity with various Linux distributions (e.g., Ubuntu, Debian).
• Awareness of security practices to prevent XSS and CSRF vulnerabilities.
• Understanding of API authentication and the capability to troubleshoot related issues.
• Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply highly technical API documentation.
• Strong programming skills that prioritize knowledge of fundamental languages behind popular frameworks, without solely relying on AI assistance.
• Capability to review and rectify AI-generated code promptly and accurately.
• Competence in debugging, log analysis, and request tracing.
• Experience with Figma for UI/UX design.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver features, fixes, and UI/UX designs across the portfolio of our company’s products.
• Engage in tasks that are evenly split between frontend and backend development as they evolve.
• Collaborate with the Lead Developer for code reviews prior to production deployment.
• Design, document, and implement API services into our event-driven data pipelines to ensure the movement of clean, validated data between internal services and client software.
• Utilize AI coding assistants thoughtfully while maintaining reliance on foundational coding skills.
• Foster a positive and friendly team culture, sharing enjoyment through gaming, movies, and engaging discussions.
• Work with the Principal Lead Developer and Company Visionary to build outstanding software applications for our internal teams and external clients.
• Collaborate closely with your fellow Junior Frontend Developer to exchange ideas, enhance quickly, and develop skills together.
