This individual will work closely with executive leadership, product, sales, and compliance teams to help win and implement high-impact federal programs that improve financial readiness and payroll flexibility for service members and government employees.

Military experience and/or significant public sector leadership experience is strongly preferred.

How You Will Make an Impact:

  • Lead federal and military program management from pre-sales through implementation and long-term support

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to federal partners (DoD, VA, Navy, Army, etc.), managing complex stakeholder relationships across program offices, IT, HR/payroll, and procurement

  • Partner with VP of Public Sector to shape and execute DailyPay’s go-to-market strategy across defense and federal verticals

  • Translate agency needs into clear product requirements and success metrics, working with internal cross-functional teams (product, engineering, legal, compliance)

  • Support the development of strategic pilots, SBIR/STTR opportunities, IL4/FedRAMP compliance, and procurement pathways

  • Manage program reporting, governance, and performance for executive sponsors

  • Mentor internal teams on the nuances of federal delivery, contracting, and stakeholder management

What You Bring to The Team:
  • 10+ years of experience in federal program management, ideally with both pre-sales and delivery ownership

  • Demonstrated experience working with military and/or federal government clients (DoD, VA, HHS, GSA, etc.)

  • Proven success leading mission-critical government technology programs from inception through execution

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and customer engagement skills

  • Ability to operate independently and thrive in a fast-paced, scaling environment

Nice to Haves:
  • Military service or DoD civilian experience strongly preferred (e.g., retired officer, acquisition specialist, program executive)

  • Deep understanding of government procurement, contracting vehicles, and compliance

  • Experience with ERP, HR/payroll, or financial wellness technologies in government settings.

What We Offer:

  • Exceptional health, vision, and dental care

  • Opportunity for equity ownership

  • Life and AD&D, short- and long-term disability

  • Employee Assistance Program

  • Employee Resource Groups

  • Fun company outings and events

  • Unlimited PTO

  • 401K with company match

Compensation Range: $152K - $235K
