Description Join National Dentex - a leading healthcare organization specializing in the dental industry! We offer a full spectrum of specialized products, services, and technologies to address any dental restoration need. Currently, we have 50 labs throughout the country. We are seeking to fill a number of key positions within our organization including this Dental Lab Technician Trainee opportunity at NDX Rogers in Athens, TN. Job Details This is a full‑time position featuring employee benefits including health, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance; paid holiday, vacation, and sick time; 401(k) with company contribution; and tuition reimbursement. Regular hours are 8:30 AM–6:00 PM, Monday through Thursday; 8:00 AM–12:00 PM on Fridays. Hours may change from time to time. Primary Responsibilities And Essential Functions Of The Position Read prescriptions, specifications and preferences received from doctor. Participate in the finishing function of removable products. Remove appliance from duplicate model and dispose of excess material. Smooth appliance by using a combination of the ultrasonic stone remover, shell blaster and high‑speed lathe. Polish appliance to a high shine by using the pumice and rag wheel equipment. Follow all technical team policies (TTPs) which have been set as the standard protocol for the manufacturing process in the department. Effectively participate in the quality assurance at every case exchange. Understand and demonstrate Keller’s core values of Honesty, Respect, Commitment, Accountability and Communication on a daily basis. All other duties as assigned. Skills And Abilities Required Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English. Good hand‑eye coordination, good manual dexterity, excellent perception skills and strong attention to details. Ability to troubleshoot and problem‑solve using past experience and successes to gauge best steps for future cases. Ability to effectively communicate with all team members during the buyer‑seller transactions as well as communicating to members of the technical support team, members of management, and the training team. Ability to learn and successfully complete all in‑house training and verifications. Ability to maneuver between the finishing fabrication stations. Minimum Education And Experience Required Preferred: High school diploma or equivalent. No experience required. Read and interpret prescriptions and other required documentation. Ability to effectively communicate technical information.
