SUMMARY
Morris Bank's Summer 2024 Internship Program provides high- potential students with a rewarding internship experience as well as an inside look at what it's like to work for a growing, innovative, community bank that has been serving clients since 1954. An intern will be responsible for working on various projects and assignments that are both challenging and offer valuable, real-world experiences in their respective line of business/function. Morris Bank offers college internship opportunities in various departments.
At Morris Bank, our commercial lending team is focused on working with clients to explain the procedures and answer questions during the lending process. They also interact with bank management in discussing the credit risk of loan applicants. The credit analyst team is responsible for the review of the bank's overall credit review process by analyzing financial information and credit reports to evaluate degree of risk of commercial loans. They prepare recommendations for the bank lending committee regarding credit limits and terms of loan. The Commercial Lending, Credit Analyst Intern will gain experience while working on a wide variety of tasks assigned by the commercial lending and credit analyst teams. The various projects may include pipeline management, review of financial documents for credit decisioning, presenting loan opportunities, and reviews of existing clients. The goal of the Commercial Lending, Credit Analyst Internship is to attract and develop self-motivated individuals who are highly skilled and passionate about a career in credit and lending while providing a foundation for future success within the organization.
