About the Role The Corporate Marketing & Events team has a new opportunity to support FTI Consulting’s key go-to-market programs across the firm and is looking for a collaborative, highly motivated recent grad that wants to exercise their entrepreneurial spirit in the workplace. The Associate II, Corporate Marketing & Events will collaborate with a growing team in the tactical execution of an integrated marketing events strategy, gaining experience in operations, communications, digital marketing, strategy planning and project management. The ideal candidate is passionate about events, driven to improve processes, highly detail-oriented, thrives in a fast-paced environment and is excited to help build our global event marketing function. What You’ll Do Collaborate with the Corporate Events Team to support events, conferences and sponsorship opportunities (both virtual and in-person) from contract execution and project planning to post-event follow-up: Build and maintain event invitation lists through FTI’s Salesforce integration, organizing contacts, scrubbing lists and deduping data. Research speaking opportunities and sponsorships and vet against criteria to determine expected lead generation, brand awareness, and general investment value. Coordinate internally with segment and regional marketing teams and consulting professionals as well as external vendors, conference organizers, etc. Manage pre- and post-event communications and debriefs with attending professionals for feedback, leads, and opportunities. Help maintain and manage the company sporting and event ticket tracking system. Maintain and disseminate a calendar of global events and track due dates and deliverables as needed. Own the production and execution of the internal QuickPitch learning series, building communications campaigns, managing senior stakeholders and setting up Zoom webinars. Organize Corporate Headshot Days for our largest offices, building event campaigns, collating invitation lists and coordinating with external vendors. Assist with project management of corporate branded merchandise and stationery program, including monitoring store inventories, managing the shared mailbox, responding to internal stakeholder inquiries, coordinating order questions, and using creative skills to develop new product ideas. Conduct independent research on industry trends and competitors to inform FTI’s global events strategy. Assist with the ongoing implementation of FTI’s event management system (Cvent) across the global marketing and communications function to improve effectiveness and efficiency of the firm’s events strategy and execution. Own the circulation of call agendas, meeting minutes and disseminating follow-up action items to team members. Support key marketing operations programs with the goal of standardizing deliverable output and centralizing key initiatives across the business globally. Coordinate quarterly and annual updates to key cross-firm marketing materials (Company Overview deck, Corporate Brochure, Office Award Wall Displays etc.) by collaborating with various corporate functional teams and distributing updated content to stakeholders to ensure all collateral remains client-ready and up to date. Track license/seat usage for marketing-owned platforms including Asana, Uniqode, Lexology, SurveyMonkey, Cvent, etc., and act as point of contact for questions and training materials Assist with organization, maintenance and optimizing usage of the marketing and communication pages of the firm’s Intranet, FTI Atlas. Assist with development of Asana project management templates for various event and marketing campaign types. Additional administrative responsibilities as needed. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations (or related). Minimum 1 year of related internship or full-time experience in marketing or event management, preferably within the professional services industry. Strong proofreading and editing skills Exceptional organizational and project management skills Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, with strong Excel skills. Ability to travel to FTI office(s) a minimum of once per week.
