Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Assembler to join our team in a dynamic production environment. This role is integral to our assembly line, where you will follow work instructions meticulously, utilize basic hand tools, and conduct visual inspections to ensure quality. You will be responsible for passing assembled components to the next stage or placing them on the rack for quality checks. Proficiency with computers is essential for reading, documenting, and scanning materials during the assembly process.
Responsibilities
Join a supportive work environment with excellent management and opportunities for growth. Enjoy a shift premium on top of base pay, with a 6% premium for 2nd shift and a 10% premium for 3rd shift. Be part of a long-term work area that serves as a farm system for entry-level engineers.
Work Environment
Work in a 'clean room' style production environment, where special shoe inserts are required to prevent static damage. The facility is project-based, sometimes requiring teamwork to meet deadlines. The 3rd shift runs from 10:30 PM to 6:30 AM, with the possibility of weekend work.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Auburn Hills, Michigan.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $18.50/hr.
