App Dev Support Analyst IT Location Antioch, TN :
Responsible for providing support and training for users and the helpdesk for various applications and systems.
Essential Job Duties:
- Maintain, integrate, and implement software applications within the organization.
- Coordinate software application testing, quality assurance, configuration, installation, and support to ensure smooth, stable, and timely implementation of new software and updates to installed applications.
- Ensure proper controls are established and maintained over test and production systems and software source code. Troubleshoot and resolve sophisticated and escalated technical product support issues for technical product support personnel.
- Interact with product development and quality assurance teams to give feedback, discuss design issues, investigate problems, and develop solutions to meet the technological needs of users.
- Develop technical documents, instructions, and training for support personnel.
- Possess in-depth knowledge of the organization's products and/or services.
- May also directly assist clients on escalated support tickets for highly complex technical issues when first-line product support teams have not succeeded in isolating and resolving issue.
- Assume other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Not responsible for supervising employees.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree.
- 4+ years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of the major estimating system platforms and/or specific LKQ applications.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in LKQ/Keystone systems and/or operations.
- Experience in Agile development environments.
- Experience with web services, soap, and rest calls.
- Experience and/or certification as a Business Analyst, Project Analyst, or similar role.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- The ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. The ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages and to draw and interpret graphs.
- The ability to utilize complex computer operations (intermediate/advance programming, relational databases, and operating systems) and advanced features of software packages.
- The ability to regularly uses moderately complex oral and written skills. May train others in functional areas, interact with others, and make presentations to department or middle management.
- Decisions impact the management and operations within a department. May contribute to business and operational decisions that affect the department.
- Problems are varied and complex, requiring analysis or interpretation of the situation. Problems are solvednusing knowledge and skills, general precedents, and practices.
- Provides and sets goals and priorities for functional area. May make recommendations for department policies, practices, and programs. Makes decisions for and/or resolves problems for others.
- The ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with moderate complexity.
Essential Physical Demands/Work Environment:
- Work is primarily sedentary: must be able to sit for extended periods of time and use a computer, keyboard, and mouse, frequently. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Travel may be required periodically, including overnight stays (contingent on position requirements)
