Job Title: Seasonal Admissions Counselor

Location: Boston, MA (Onsite)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM

Rate: $26–$34/hr

Background Check: Required and must be cleared prior to start

Overview:

A Boston-based accredited institution is seeking a seasonal, outgoing, and highly communicative Admissions Counselor to support undergraduate student recruitment. This contract role involves leading on-campus information sessions, engaging with prospective students and families, and making outbound calls. Some local travel within Massachusetts will be required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct on-campus info sessions and campus tours
• Meet individually with prospective students and families
• Make outreach calls to applicants and inquiries
• Answer admissions questions via phone, email, and text
• Support recruitment events and campus visit programs
• Use CRM tools (Salesforce) to track engagement

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 3+ years in admissions or higher education preferred
• Energetic, extroverted personality with strong communication skills
• Comfortable with public speaking and student interaction
• Must be comfortable with local travel
• Valid driver’s license required

• Onsite role only (no parking; accessible via public transit)
